'F1' Type
 The first 'F' types were
called '12/70 Magnas' and were only retrospectivelyknown as 'F1s' after
the introduction of the 'F3s' that shared the mechanicalimprovements of the 'F2' (e.g. the 12" brakes but not the 2-seater body).Some 'F1s' may
have been modified by the factory to 'F3' specification later,but 'F1s' originally had
8" brakes and either the Tourer and Salonette bodiesas fitted to the 'D' type Midgets or were supplied in chassis form for special-bodies to be fitted. Quite a few
'F1s' have been rebuilt as 'F2'
